Aki Development provides full design-build services for a variety of facilities. We routinely partner with sub-contractors, architects and engineers to provide design and construction oversight for buildings, water and wastewater infrastructure and renovation projects. We service Manitoba, Ontario and Saskatchewan.
Aki development has expertise in design-build project delivery methods to expedite schedules and control project costs. We have become experts at fostering teamwork and communication. Extensive experience allows us to bring innovative ideas to partners and owners.
We deliver projects with a strong emphasis on scheduling, cost control and quality assurance, while adding significant value to our projects by solving complex constructability issues during the design phase. Lessons learned in the field are routinely captured and incorporated into future designs.
With years of experience, our team understands the demands for staff availability and consistency, schedule compliance, problem solving, and quick processing of permits and reviews. We understand design-build approaches from the joint perspectives of both the document preparer (Owner’s Rep) as well as the document user and project implementer.

Our Process
Pre-construction
Early involvement in the process, steer development meetings and provide comprehensive feedback in terms of constructability, design, and costing, and applying our industry expertise to help with all aspects, from budgeting to construction feedback.
Construction Management
Lead, facilitate, and coordinate all construction steps and work directly with consultants, subtrades, and suppliers on behalf of and at the sole discretion for the client. Being involved with the tendering process, our expertise and flexibility means we can help with staged tendering or work with lump sum work contracts.
General Contracting
Prepare a detailed estimate and tender in strict accordance with the design drawings and specifications prepared by the Architect and Consultants. Provide full construction services, acting as a qualified builder of the client’s project.
